Qualifications

• Bilingual in Spanish and English.

• Previous experience in data collection efforts

Duties

• Administer surveys in both Spanish and English in selected communities.

• Report on surveys administered.

Training
In order to familiarize Interviewers with the study procedures and to ensure standardized and rigorous administration of the instrument, individuals will participate in a two-day training session. This training is conducted by the PI and other key staff, and consists of:

1. Overview of the research process.

2. Basic interviewing guidelines and rules for confidentiality.

3. Interviewing technique for highly personal and sensitive questions.

4. Section-by-section instruction.

5. Survey role-plays to provide experience in handling all types of responses and to develop familiarity in administering the questionnaire.
